Charlies Catering Hire Hospitality & Events Business Acquisition by Purple Velvet Events
Knightsbridge has overseen the sale of Charlie’s Catering Hire. The Company provides event catering equipment and furniture hire to private and corporate clients throughout the South East. Charlie’s Catering Hire was established in 1996 and has grown to provide for events with up to 1,000 guests.
The owners instructed Knightsbridge with the sale of their business due to personal reasons. The business generated interest without the implementation of a research strategy.
The successful offer came from Justin Whitehead of Purple Velvet Events. Charlie’s Catering Hire was purchased as a bolt-on to Purple Velvet Events in order to eliminate the need to use a third-party hire company.
The deal was overseen by Leanne Boulding, Knightsbridge Operations Director.
