Dimatec is a Tier 1 supplier of mechanical assemblies and components to original equipment manufacturer clients in the global automotive industry. Based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, it was founded in 1981 by husband-and-wife team Andrew and Susan Bailey.
After 43 years of hard work and dedication, the Baileys chose to retire and enlisted the support of Knightsbridge to guide the sale. The process was led by Senior Deal Executive Jennifer Morley, with representation from Regional Commercial Director Martin Baars.
Thanks to their expertise, the sale was completed in just nine months from going live on the market. The buyer was identified through a direct cross match, having made an enquiry via the listing on the Knightsbridge website.

Victory Lighting (UK) emerged as the acquirer, a company specialising in infrared and ultraviolet lighting solutions for industrial applications. It was founded by Alan Penman in 1991 and is based in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
