Edutrips Leisure & Travel Business Sold to private buyer | Transaction Overview

Edutrips Ltd provides a trip management system for schools and colleges, and is based in Letchworth Garden City.

The company was founded in 2008 and has been operating within British and International health and safety standards since. Edutrips system allows educators to book trips whilst clearly highlighting best practise within the field. The system also generates easy to use blank manuals and templates for schools to personalise for each trip. This has resulted in the company becoming highly popular with a database of over 2,000 clients. Edutrips’ popularity has led them to sustain and generate a healthy revenue without implementing an extensive marketing strategy.

Edutrips’ owners’ approached Knightsbridge in order to allow them to pursue their other business interest. A private buyer was sourced during the employment of a diverse research plan by Knightsbridge. The buyer was attracted to Edutrips as they had prior knowledge of the travel and IT sectors, and wished to grow the business further.

The deal was overseen by Taylor Smith, Knightsbridge Commercial Executive, who commented he was,
