Established in 2009 in its namesake town of Felixstowe, south east of Ipswich, FLS is a heavy container handling firm that specialises in the removals and storage of large containers that typically arrive from overseas.
Located just half a mile away from the Port Of Felixstowe, it is the closest devan centre for overweight cargo that comes into the UK in deep sea containers.
FLS provides storage both indoors and outdoors, or delivery for its clients. It delivers a full handling service, as well as escort vehicle and crane hire.
The company was inherited by the owner who eventually decided to sell FLS to focus on their other business.
Operations Director Sara Thomasson facilitated a buyout which was spearheaded by FLS senior figure Ann Graves – who owns similar businesses.
