Headquartered in Newry, Northern Ireland, Funky Monkeys Playcentres is a chain of indoor soft play centres for children under eight. It offers party bookings, memberships for regular monkeys, and cafes for adults who prefer to sit down!
A well-established firm, with jungle and safari-themed décor throughout its centres, Funky Monkey’s aim is to provide fun, active, inspiring and family-friendly centres for children to let their imaginations run wild.
It operates three playcentres based in Belfast, Northern Ireland; a further three can be enjoyed in Dublin, Republic of Ireland; one in Newport, Wales; and another in Birmingham, England.
Established in 2010, its owner recently emigrated outside of the UK (and Ireland), deciding to sell to simplify matters and improve his work-life balance.
