How Gemini Print Printing & Publishing Was Sold to private buyer
Based in Wigan, Gemini Print Limited was established in 1991 and provides extensive in-house design and printing services, producing a comprehensive range of solutions including business cards, brochures and leaflets. The company is a member of the British Printing Industries Federation and has received the Small Business Award given by the Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust Excellence in Supply Awards.
The company offered several attractive attributes to a prospective buyer including a substantial 90% of the client base providing regular and repeat custom, 4,000 sq. ft. of leasehold premises with extensive plant and equipment included in the sale, a strong second-tier management team and the shareholder willing to facilitate a post-sale handover period of up to 3 months.
Knightsbridge Commercial Manager, Sara Thomasson handled the negotiations. After receiving an influx of NDA’s, Sara arranged 3 buyer meetings from which an offer was derived. The sale completed in less than 4 months of the company being on the market with Knightsbridge Commercial.
