How Hickory Dickorys Leisure & Travel Was Sold to private buyer | Transaction Overview
Knightsbridge advises in child’s play…
Overseen by Sara Manville, Knightsbridge Senior Sales Negotiator, Hickory Dickory’s owners Alastair and Julie Hick received strong interest in their business.
Hickory Dickory’s boasts the largest play centre in Birmingham, and a second branch in Derby – both in excellent city locations. The company records a combined turnover of £1.1M.
Its mission is to provide unparalleled indoor children’s adventure play and party centres that are spacious, high quality, stylish, and as attractive to adults as they are exciting and fun to children.
Through support from Knightsbridge, Hickory Dickory’s has been acquired by NLTrust – a not-for-profit organisation set up in agreement with Northampton Borough Council to manage the operation and development of its leisure facilities.
NLTrust is committed to having a high social impact that benefits the people of Northampton and surrounding areas. It looks to continue its growth in the latter.
Happy with the deal, it’s fun and games for the Hicks as they prepare to enjoy their retirement.
