How Mitchells Chippy Food & Drink Was Sold to Jean Clark
Knightsbridge Business Sales have successfully completed the sale of Mitchell’s Chippy, a Wiltshire based fish & chip take away.
Mitchell’s Chippy, was established over 20 years ago, and has remained with the current owners throughout its entirety. The chippy is located in a busy area, situated close to a residential area and other amenities such as a newsagents, meaning that footfall is high.
Mitchell’s has built an excellent reputation within the area, synonymous with quality food and friendly service. This reputation has resulted in a loyal and longstanding customer base, which keep the chippy busy.
Having built the business into what it is today, the owners of Mitchell’s chippy instructed Knightsbridge with the sale of the business in order to begin their well-earned retirement.
Knightsbridge conducted their thorough research process, marketing the opportunity to a wide range of potential acquirers. Mitchell’s proved to be highly popular, and everyone that viewed the property then went on to make an offer, paying testament to the quality of the chip shop that our clients had established.
The ultimate buyer was a private individual, Jean Clark, who bought the chippy due to her relocation plans.
Jessica Aspinall, Sales Negotiator at Knightsbridge, advised on the sale and commented, ‘I would like to thank all parties for their continued co-operation throughout this sale. I believe all involved are pleased with the outcome and I wish everyone well with their future endeavours.’
