PHG Direct Limited, trading as Period House Group, is an online retailer of hand-forged architectural ironmongery, with an excellent showroom based in Yorkshire and the Humber which is regularly visited by customers UK-wide. The company was founded in 1994 and has seen significant growth over the years. Period House Group benefits from a highly popular e-commerce platform which attracts an international client base. In addition to this the Period House Group is a fully relocatable opportunity.
Malcolm Booker and Caroline Metcalfe, the shareholders of Period House Group, instructed Knightsbridge with the sale of their business to enable their retirement plans.
Knightsbridge implemented a diverse research strategy, with a buyer ultimately being found through Knightsbridge’s website. The successful offer came from Dorquip Group Ltd, as a bolt on acquisition to their existing ironmongery business.
