How THC Recruitment Business Services Was Sold to Rajesh Dasani

Knightsbridge oversaw the sale of THC Recruitment to a technology entrepreneur… THC was formed by Julie Ramsay and her husband Mike in Essex in 1999. It is a specialist recruitment agency operating within the asset & motor finance industry. Julie explained her decision to sell: “When I decided the time had come to retire, I wanted to find a new owner who could deliver that additional need for our clients, while my team delivered the asset finance expertise that has always been the hallmark of THC.” Under Julie’s leadership, the business has grown exponentially. Feeling that now is the right time to set plans in place to leave, Julie will soon follow Mike who retired from the company in 2020. Senior Commercial Executive Ben Hunt set out to find a suitable buyer… The successful offer came from technology-focused recruitment specialist, Rajesh Dasani, based in Middlesex, who acquired THC aiming to expand his existing experience and services in recruitment. Rajesh has worked in IT project management roles at Vodafone, RBS, and Barclays – to name just a few major global businesses. He has since built a portfolio of acquirements, in which he plays the role of Director. Rajesh saw the potential of THC and the opportunity to grow the company into his existing group. Julie will continue working in the business as a consultant whilst planning her retirement. Rajesh explained his motivation to acquire THC: “Leading asset finance lenders are increasingly aware that they need great tech to support their team as they interact with customers. “By finding the right technology talent we can help lenders get the best from their digital platforms and to deliver the next-generation digital experiences that they want.”
