Jump Design & Print Acquires Walton Press Printing & Publishing Company
Walton Press Limited, based in Somerset, is a highly regarded printing company with over 50 years of experience.
The company benefits from a dedicated, experienced and reliable workforce which has enabled Walton Press Limited to develop a loyal, long-standing customer base with many relationships lasting over 30 years. These two factors have allowed Walton Press Limited to achieve turnover in excess of £399,000 last financial year. The company also proved popular with potential buyers as it presented as the ideal bolt-on acquisition which would allow for further expansion in both product offerings and customer base. This was strengthened by the shareholders willingness to remain with the company in an advisory role for a period post-sale.
The shareholders instructed Knightsbridge with the sale of their business in order to pursue their retirement plans.
Walton Press Limited proved an attractive prospect to prospective buyers, attracting 15 interested parties, four meetings and two competing offers. The successful offer came from Jump Design & Print Limited as a synergy purchase.
