Patterson Products Manufacturing & Engineering Business Acquisition by Management buyout
Patterson Products Limited is a manufacturer of high quality of golf products, including single-seat golf buggies, based in Surrey.
The business benefits from niche product offerings and over 60 years of experience, with the company being formed in the 1950’s and later established in 2002. The long-standing nature of the business has developed an enviable reputation within the sector; which has led to high levels of repeat and referral rate of customers.
The shareholders instructed Knightsbridge with the sale of their business in order to facilitate two shareholders’ retirement plans.
Following the implementation of a varied research plan Knightsbridge identified 25 interested parties. Ultimately the shareholders agreed that the best option was a Management Buyout through one of the existing shareholders.
The individual had been a Director at the Patterson Products Limited for several years, giving them a clear understanding of the business. This would put the company in the best position to achieve further growth.
The deal was overseen by Knightsbridge Operations Director, Sara Thomasson.
