Established for over 28 years and in the ownership of our clients since this time, the business has built up a strong and loyal client base within the local area. The Post Office produces a consistent turnover through its general sales and a Post Office salary. The business also incorporates a retail side offering a wide range of confectionery, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stationery, national lottery, newspapers and drinks. There is also a unisex hair salon at the rear of the main retail area which offers all aspects of hair services.
This large property is ideally situated on a prominent corner trading position, on Stringers Avenue. Entrance is made into the main retail area, with a post office counter to the rear and a large card display to the right. There is a doorway through to the unisex hair salon with that houses three work stations to the left and a backwash area to the rear of the salon.
Knightsbridge Business Sales were instructed to sell the business as our client wished to retire. After generating plenty of interest, with a total of seven buyer viewings and three offers being made, the business was sold to a private buyer for £400,000. The new owner intends to work within the business full-time with the help of their partner.
